In a career that spanned 18 years in both commercial and investment banking, Kamil gained in-depth experience and knowledge in the field of banking and finance. His areas of specialisation are in:

• Corporate finance
• Corporate governance
• Risk management

He has also been involved in various equity and debt offerings, corporate and debt restructuring exercises, feasibility studies, privatisation programmes for both the private and public sector.

A graduate in Commerce from Otago, he subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand and as a Fellow Chartered Secretary of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, United Kingdom.

Kamil has also presented plenary papers at local and international conferences.
